We have just set-up our paintball camp in my friend’s backyard. It’s literally a relatively huge empty lot and we have just asked for his parent’s permission to convert it to a fun and exciting place.

So, the place is now set-up and we’re ready to take action and now I’m gearing up and getting ready to play backyard paintball wearing my backyard paintball gear. I do have my real paintball gear for the real paintball field but for now, I’m wearing some hand-me-down apparel and gear from my elder brothers. I know this will be a lot of fun!

The very first time I played paintball was during our team building activity at the office. With gears on and a paintball gun on hand, I did not have any expectations not even fear because I know I can handle the game well. But after the war game was over, I want to play more because of the things and strategies I’ve realized and learned during the game. Having a demanding job really take its toll on me, luckily one time I was invited to try paintball games and I really enjoyed it a lot. I have been playing paintball war games for the past 3 years and my very first paintball marker was a Tippmann marker. It was a 98 custom. It was one of the easiest markers to use back then as it had lots of accessories and spare parts available so when I upgraded to a Tippmann 98 barrel, the 14 inch, I had no trouble looking for shops or people to upgrade it to the style I want. I really loved that gun and it lasted me a good 3 years before I finally decided that it was time to replace and add a new marker to my collection, but still I would prefer another Tippmann made product.

In talking about paintball guns, I don’t really favor as much to any specific brand name or model as I find them to have their own specializations and their marketing “flavors” for each. I guess its up to the users to really define what custom style they want, though I really should give a hands up to the Tippmann Alpha and Tippmann Alpha Black as these are the 2 models that I could say came close enough to my expectations for the paintball gun as they should be. People do not always agree with me but hey, it’s me who uses it, not them right. So if you would ask me, have one of those Tippmann barrels and make the most of your paintball activity.

Everyone should experience the thrill and fun you can achieve with a good game of paintball.
