My friends and I love a good game of poker. We have been friends since we were kids, and poker buddies since…well, since college, when we had plenty of extra time and there wasn’t so much to do in dorms. We started playing the stud variety but later on tried out other variations of this much loved card game. After graduation, we went our separate ways, but stayed in the same city and tried our best to fix our schedules in order to accommodate our group’s poker fun on a regular basis. At first, a good many months passed because some were in search of good jobs, another is starting with a fabulous career and well, I was in between jobs. We kept in touch, although not that often, and promised to stay connected and set that poker tournament very soon. Finally, we set a date, and realized how much we’ve missed our poker fun. From then on, we bound ourselves to set a monthly poker night, the “host” to be on a rotation basis. I am the vainest of the group, the one who wants everything in style. Incidentally, I will be the first to host the big event. I am preparing nacho chips with my to-die-for salsa, sodas and, as the night progresses, margaritas! But the highlight of our poker evening would be my customized poker chips which I found online in the best poker chips site ever. I had the labels on the chips customized, with the initials of our poker group. I can’t wait to see my poker buddies’ faces when they see my personalized poker chips especially for our poker night!
